Children with Dyslexia
Job Description
Teachers who work with students with dyslexia often co-teach in a classroom with a general education teacher, allowing the children with specialized needs to stay in the classroom throughout the day. Then, if needed, the student can move to a different location for individual attention.
Alternatively, another model of teaching suggests that a student with special needs would spend all day in a quieter, more structured classroom. Though there are several special educational options available to students with unique needs, this particular model permits for individualized attention.
